Transforming aging through scientific research

Advancing discovery across the geroscience spectrum

We put forward the bold belief that agas a biological process, aging can be understood and manipulated. As a corollary, all age-driven chronic diseases, conditions and deteriorations could then be delayed and treated. Our funding spans the entire research value chain, accelerating new drug development, expanding therapeutic applications, and bridging the critical gaps between discovery and delivery.

Championing innovation and risk-taking

Progress in healthspan science requires cutting-edge, innovative thinking and a willingness to embrace calculated risks. As a global catalyst in aging biology and geroscience, we encourage innovative, high-quality research that contributes to understanding and addressing the mechanisms of aging and their application towards improving humanity's healthspan.

Expanding representation and democratization

Aging impacts everyone, and so should the solutions. Our philosophy prioritizes equitable and scalable approaches, ensuring that advancements in healthspan science benefit diverse populations worldwide. By nurturing collaboration across disciplines and geographies, we create a global ecosystem of talent dedicated to transforming how we study aging and, essentially, how we age.

Accelerating Breakthroughs in Aging Biology and Geroscience

Translating science into real-world application

We support research on aging biology and geroscience to accelerate breakthroughs and their translation into clinical trials and beyond, leading to applications and treatments that will improve the quality of life and expand healthspan for the benefit of all humankind.

Leading a collaborative network for the future

Through collaborations and a diverse range of funding mechanisms - grants and partnerships - we’re fostering opportunities for both early and established scientists worldwide to invest in long-term research projects that move beyond a primarily molecular and mechanistic view towards developing oppurtunities for application into real-life public health domains.

Building public support for aging research

Global alliances are an opportunity for lesson sharing, agenda-setting, and pooling resources to support healthspan policies and programs. They are avenues to build the infrastructure required for a ‘healthspan society’ with a greater focus on digital technology, data, and prevention approaches. By encouraging agile frameworks and advocating for policies prioritizing healthspan innovation, we can bring transformative approaches to aging science, paving the way for a more equitable, prevention-focused future.

Empowering Global Talent in Healthspan Sciences

What we seek

Driven by the need to understand, our focus is on the biology of aging itself rather than specific diseases. We will make an exception if the research examines how aging mechanisms contribute to the disease under study, or if the research uses disease as a model to study aging. Our ultimate goal is to accelerate breakthroughs that can translate to clinical trials, leading to applications and treatments that will expand healthspan to benefit all humankind.

Who and what we fund

Our grants and partnerships programs champion innovation and risk-taking. This philosophy will be emphasized to our peer reviewers prior to their evaluations. Our funding opportunities will cover the entire value chain of geroscience research, including:

  • Early scientists (postdocs, early-stage faculty)
  • Long-term basic and applied research
  • The development of new drugs, or the repurposing of existing ones
  • Early-stage clinical trials (phase I and II)

When planning to apply

Funding oppurtunities will be advertised on our website and through partner organizations worldwide. Before applying, review our mission, goals, and guidelines to ensure your research fits our criteria.  For questions or clarifications, reach out to us at grants@hevolution.com.
